The Manor is a full service recording studio, specializing in vintage analog recording. Located in idyllic countryside setting just outside downtown Dallas TX. It offers a stress free environment with a comfortable relaxed atmosphere, maximizing your musical performance and creativity.

The Manor is unusual that it specializes in recording in the traditional  old fashioned way. Our engineer uses tried and trusted techniques that date back many years and were once common place in every studio.

The Manor is committed in keeping these old traditional techniques of recording alive and by doing so we give our clients an insight in the way these great albums of the past were recorded

We are adding a new recording experience to our list  called  the unplugged sessions were a Band or solo artist records live in front a small selective audience. This way of recording is ideal for  those Bands and  singer songwriters who play there best in front of live audience .

Owner and Engineer Stephen King

A native north Londoner Stephen is celebrating his 30th year in the recording industry, and his a full member of The Audio Engineers Society. He as held positions in several major studio in England, working along side some top engineers. Engineering mainly in the Analog Domain he crossed over to digital when the new technology emerge, but still prefers "Old school" way of recording and uses these techniques  to create the the sound of the Manor Studio.
